The LOMAX N Bottle Neck Inspection System offers quick, accurate and reliable bottle neck inspections.

The LOMAX N is a high speed, stand-alone bottle neck inspection system. It automatically inspects the quality of the neck thread form and neck internal diameter on nearly any type of plastic bottle.

Depending upon the number of inspections required, the LOMAX N can inspect up to 600 products per minute.

Products not meeting the customer prescribed inspection criteria are automatically rejected from the line.

• Measure thread major (“T”) diameter.
• Measure neck height (“H”).
• Measure minor diameter (“E”) of neck.
• Measure outside diameter (“I”) of neck.
• Verify that no flash is in critical areas.
• Verify that the sealing surface is fully formed.
• Inspect for chocked neck opening.
• Inspect neck sealing surface for planarity.
• Inspect neck opening for molding flash.
• Measure thickness of sealing surface.
• Notch detect.
