LOMAX inspection systems
CIVision’s LOMAX family of vision inspection systems was developed specifically to provide high-resolution machine vision inspection for high-speed lines in the packaging, bottle manufacturing, labeling, printing and pharmaceutical industries, and engineers can modify each LOMAX standard system to meet a customer’s specific needs, or design a custom solution for unique inspection requirements. In either case, CIVision works closely with customers to develop a system that meets their current needs and allows for possible future needs.
CIVision inspection systems include the LOMAX P high-speed package inspection system, the LOMAX N neck finish inspection system, and the newer LOMAX NP high-speed neck and label inspection system, which integrates capabilities of both the N and P systems.
The newest family members
Two of the newest vision inspection systems developed by CIVision engineers offer innovative capabilities:
- The new CIVision LOMAX 360 degree Full View bottle inspection system integrates images from four cameras into a seamless image of a bottle. This means that labeled bottles can now be inspected at production line speeds without the need to interrupt production to orient bottles toward the camera.
- CIVision RFID inspection system enables companies to inspect at production speeds for the presence and functioning capability of embedded RFID chips in molded plastic bottles.
These are just two examples of CIVision’s ongoing development of innovative ways to need evolving inspection needs.
